London, England - The List
Even though I’ve been to London several times now, and have a solid list of favorite places and things to do, I’m constantly hearing of new things to do, see, eat, and drink. I’m also by no means a local Londoner myself, so if you have any recommendations, please let me know in the comments!
My Bloomsbury: I stayed here in 2017 as they were renovating the hotel, and paid ~$100/night for a small single. This was PERFECT for a solo traveler as it was nice but not too fancy, well connected on the tube, and had a Gail’s in the lobby for breakfast.
The Distillery: I spent a couple of nights here in 2019, and loved getting to live in Notting Hill and a pub for a while. It was bit further outside of central, but was a good way to experience a light commute into town.
Mid Range: $$
Museums and Cultural Things to Do

St. James’s Park (come here at sunrise - pictured above - you won’t regret it!)
Hyde Park - the Rose Garden and Serpentine are beautiful, as is Kensington Palace
Battersea Park - especially if you love dogs and cherry blossoms
Paris (the first time I ever went to Paris was a Eurostar day trip - it was a fast day, but possible)
